Camelfordtogether

Better community. Better environment. Better lives.

Bringing together residents, businesses and stakeholders to help create a better, stronger and more sustainable future for our town.

What’s Camelford Together?

We’ve formed a Community Interest Company (CIC). This is a non political, not for profit company limited by Guarantee, that operates entirely for the benefit of the town and the community. As local volunteers, we want to get people like you to join us to instigate community-led initiatives that will help revitalise our town. That’s why we’ve called it Camelford Together.

What’s in it for Camelford?

Quite simply, having a CIC opens doors for Camelford. It gives us access to more funding opportunities to attract investment for the town. That’s potentially a share of a £132m pot! Successful towns around the country all have a CIC.

Your skills for your Camelford

Together, we’ll be a positive open, fair and inclusive voice for our town. A competitive and compelling voice to redress the bias of the past, secure vital investment and bring to fruition projects that benefit Camelford. We’ll work with existing groups, private enterprise and local businesses along with Camelford Town Council and Cornwall County Council to enhance and promote the town’s profile and attractions.

Who are we?

Like-minded people living in Camelford

So who are we? We’re a group of local people who come from all kinds of backgrounds, professions and trades. We’re united in our belief of standing up and doing our bit to make a positive difference for where we live. We want to get more for Camelford and protect our community as we face more uncertain times in the coming years. We’ve come together to get things moving.

How to get involved?

It’s all down to you…

You can become a volunteer like us or a friend of Camelford Together. Maybe you have a particular trade or skillset that you can offer. Could your club or organisation get involved? Whether you can give an hour now and again or be totally hands on that’s absolutely fine. The important thing is to be part of it. Together we can do this.
